Il permet de cr\u00e9er des volumes logiques qui peuvent s&#8217;\u00e9tendre sur plusieurs p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques de stockage physiques. Cela vous donne une flexibilit\u00e9 dans l&#8217;allocation d&#8217;espace disque qui va au-del\u00e0 des restrictions des partitions physiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ce guide, nous couvrirons les bases de la configuration et de la gestion des volumes LVM sur Linux Debian et Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04 et 22.04.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pr%C3%A9sentation-de-lvm\">Pr\u00e9sentation de LVM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelques termes et concepts cl\u00e9s li\u00e9s \u00e0 LVM :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Volumes physiques (PV)<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Les p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques de stockage physiques sous-jacents qui fournissent la capacit\u00e9 de stockage r\u00e9elle, comme les partitions sur les disques durs ou SSD.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Groupes de volumes (VG)<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Un ensemble de volumes physiques regroup\u00e9s. Cela permet de combiner des p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques de stockage physiques en pools de stockage plus importants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Volumes logiques (LV)<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; P\u00e9riph\u00e9riques de bloc virtuels auxquels l&#8217;espace est allou\u00e9 \u00e0 partir du groupe de volumes sous-jacent. Vous pouvez cr\u00e9er, redimensionner et supprimer des volumes logiques selon les besoins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00c9tendues<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Petits morceaux de taille \u00e9gale d&#8217;espace contigu sur un volume physique. Lorsqu&#8217;elles sont allou\u00e9es \u00e0 un volume logique, elles fournissent du stockage au volume.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Le principal avantage de LVM est l&#8217;abstraction entre les disques physiques et les volumes logiques. En utilisant LVM, vous n&#8217;avez pas \u00e0 vous soucier des d\u00e9tails du stockage physique. Vous pouvez redimensionner, cr\u00e9er des instantan\u00e9s et d\u00e9placer des volumes logiques sans avoir \u00e0 modifier les p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques physiques sous-jacents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"installation-de-lvm\">Installation de LVM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour commencer avec LVM, vous devez d&#8217;abord installer le paquet lvm2 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">$ sudo apt install lvm2<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela installera tous les outils n\u00e9cessaires pour g\u00e9rer les volumes LVM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cr%C3%A9ation-de-volumes-physiques\">Cr\u00e9ation de volumes physiques<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape consiste \u00e0 initialiser les disques ou les partitions en tant que volumes physiques (PV) \u00e0 utiliser par LVM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par exemple, pour initialiser la partition&nbsp;<code>\/dev\/sdb1<\/code>&nbsp;en tant que volume physique LVM :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">$ sudo pvcreate \/dev\/sdb1<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Output:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">  Physical volume \"\/dev\/sdb1\" successfully created  <\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Vous pouvez v\u00e9rifier les PV disponibles :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">$ sudo pvs<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Output:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">PV         VG        Fmt  Attr PSize   PFree\n\/dev\/sdb1             lvm2 ---  &lt;223.57G &lt;223.57G<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela r\u00e9pertoriera tous les volumes physiques auxquels LVM peut acc\u00e9der.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cr%C3%A9ation-de-groupes-de-volumes\">Cr\u00e9ation de groupes de volumes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensuite, vous devez combiner un ou plusieurs PV dans un groupe de volumes (VG). currently set to     256\n  Block device           253:2<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Les volumes logiques seront mapp\u00e9s sur des p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques&nbsp;<code>\/dev\/VG\/LV<\/code>&nbsp;qui peuvent \u00eatre format\u00e9s et mont\u00e9s, comme des partitions normales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"formatage-et-montage-des-volumes-logiques\">Formatage et montage des volumes logiques<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour utiliser les volumes logiques LVM, ils doivent \u00eatre format\u00e9s avec un syst\u00e8me de fichiers comme n&#8217;importe quel autre p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique de bloc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par exemple, pour formater le volume&nbsp;<code>logs<\/code>&nbsp;en ext4 et le monter dans&nbsp;<code>\/var\/log<\/code>&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">$ sudo mkfs.ext4 \/dev\/data\/logs\n$ sudo mkdir \/var\/log  \n$ sudo mount \/dev\/data\/logs \/var\/log<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour le monter automatiquement au d\u00e9marrage, ajoutez ceci dans&nbsp;<code>\/etc\/fstab<\/code>&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">\/dev\/data\/logs \/var\/log ext4 defaults 0 0<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Faites de m\u00eame pour tout autre volume logique que vous souhaitez utiliser en permanence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"%C3%A9tendre-un-volume-logique\">\u00c9tendre un volume logique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;un des avantages de LVM est que vous pouvez facilement \u00e9tendre les volumes logiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par exemple, pour agrandir le volume&nbsp;<code>logs<\/code>&nbsp;de 5 Go, \u00e9tendez d&#8217;abord le groupe de volumes de 5 Go :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">$ sudo lvextend -L +5G \/dev\/data\/logs<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Output:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">  Size of logical volume data\/logs changed from 10.00 GiB (2560 extents) to 15.00 GiB (3840 extents).\n  Logical volume data\/logs successfully resized. <\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Redimensionnez ensuite le syst\u00e8me de fichiers pour qu&#8217;il corresponde :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">$ sudo resize2fs \/dev\/data\/logs<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Output:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code class=\"\">resize2fs 1.45.5 (07-Jan-2020)\nFilesystem at \/dev\/data\/logs is mounted on \/var\/log; on-line resizing required\nold_desc_blocks = 1, new_desc_blocks = 1\nThe filesystem on \/dev\/data\/logs is now 153600 (4k) blocks long.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Le volume logique est maintenant agrandi de 5 Go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&#8217;est beaucoup plus facile que d&#8217;\u00e9tendre des partitions disque, ce qui n\u00e9cessite des \u00e9tapes douloureuses comme d\u00e9placer et redimensionner les partitions adjacentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"r%C3%A9duire-un-volume-logique\">R\u00e9duire un volume logique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour r\u00e9duire un volume logique, redimensionnez d&#8217;abord le syst\u00e8me de fichiers :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code class=\"\">$ sudo resize2fs \/dev\/data\/logs 20G <\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Output:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">resize2fs 1.45.5 (07-Jan-2020)  \nResizing the filesystem on \/dev\/data\/logs to 5242880 (4k) blocks.\nThe filesystem on \/dev\/data\/logs is now 5242880 (4k) blocks long.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela r\u00e9duit le syst\u00e8me de fichiers \u00e0 20 Go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00e9duisez ensuite la taille du LV pour qu&#8217;elle corresponde :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">$ sudo lvreduce -L 20G \/dev\/data\/logs<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Output:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"bash\" class=\"language-bash\">  Size of logical volume data\/logs changed from 15.00 GiB (3840 extents) to 20.00 GiB (5120 extents).\n  Logical volume data\/logs successfully resized.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Le volume&nbsp;<code>logs<\/code>&nbsp;est maintenant r\u00e9duit \u00e0 20 Go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cr%C3%A9ation-dinstantan%C3%A9s\">Cr\u00e9ation d&#8217;instantan\u00e9s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>LVM vous permet de cr\u00e9er des instantan\u00e9s de volumes logiques.
